Verse of the Day

Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:30–31

Divine Strength in Times of Weakness

Life has a way of draining us. Even the strongest among us—young, energetic, and full of ambition—eventually run out of steam. Isaiah acknowledges this human truth, but then shifts our eyes toward a divine reality: those who place their hope in the Lord receive a supernatural strength that defies human limits.

God doesn’t promise a life without challenges. He doesn’t say you won’t get tired—He says you won’t stay tired. When your energy fades, His strength takes over. The moment you choose to hope in Him—no matter how small that hope feels—He begins the work of renewal.

The imagery of soaring like eagles is powerful. Eagles don’t flap endlessly; they rise on currents of wind. In the same way, you don’t have to exhaust yourself trying to make everything work. Trusting God allows you to rise above the chaos, catching the wind of His Spirit to carry you forward.

So today, if you feel like you’re barely walking or completely worn out, remember this: strength will return. Not because you’re trying harder, but because you’re trusting deeper. Keep walking. Keep running. You are not alone, and the Lord’s strength will carry you farther than you thought possible.

Closing Prayer

Lord, thank You for being the source of my strength when I am weary. Help me to place my full hope in You, knowing that You will renew me. Let me soar above discouragement like an eagle and walk forward in confidence, knowing You are with me at every step. Amen.
